Benidorm is a turistic resort, and that generates a lot of news... Here is the lastest Benidorm turism news.

A while ago we reported new statistics from Travelsupermarket.com showing that in October 2007, four out of the top five searches for package holidays to Spain were looking for Canary Island breaks. Gran Canaria was most popular, followed by Tenerife. Mainland Spain makes a showing at number three with searches for the Costa Blanca, but then Lanzarote and Fuerteventura rounded out the top five.
Other online travel agencies are experiencing similar search patterns, including TravelRepublic, who have noted a massive increase in bookings for Christmas holidays following the UK’s dreary summer. Along with the Canary Islands, holidaymakers are choosing the Costa Blanca and the Costa del Sol, with a 213 per cent increase in holidays booked to Benidorm, and a 329 per cent increase in the Málaga province.
The island of Tenerife receives 45 per cent of the total number of British tourists that holiday in the Canaries. So far in 2007 Tenerife has welcomed a total of 1.3 million visitors to the island, 80 per cent of whom are returning for at least their second visit to the island, showing that Brits who own holiday homes on the island should be taking advantage of the fact that winter sunshine is still a major attraction.
