The Society Benidorm news section with the latest and freshest Benidorm news

A new travel documentary is being filmed in Benidorm and Torremolinos from 20th to 30th August and is looking for contributors to feature in the show.
‘Wish You Were Here - Now and Then’ is a look at those places which Judith Chalmers visited nearly 30 years ago, to see how much they’ve changed. Her son, Mark-Durden Smith is presenting it and the ITV show is also featuring archive from the original destinations, along with interviewees from local people.
A member of the production team contacted the ‘Leader’ saying “We are looking for people who went to Benidorm or Torremolinos on holiday,
back in the 70’s and loved it so much that they decided to move there.
Obviously their properties will have gone up in value a lot and we would like to feature someone with a fairly aspirational home who can show us around it. We would also like them to take us to a couple of their 'hidden gems' in and around Benidorm or Torremolinos.”
The rest of the show will take a look at how Benidorm/Torremolinos has
changed since the 70’s, whether the places that the original show featured are still there and the way at how Britain’s holiday trends have changed as a whole.
Anyone interested in featuring in the show can email david.minchin@talkbackthames.tv or write to Talkback Thames TV at 20-21 Newman Street, London, W1T 1PG
